International Rectifier (IR) was formed in 1947 and has its headquarters in El Segun, Calif., a US power management technology firm. Produces analog and mixed signal ICs and high-performance integrated components for computers, sophisticated circuit equipment and integrated power systems. The firm joined Infineon Technologies on 13 January 2015. In numerous applications, IR goods continue to be utilized, including lights, cars, satellites, airplanes and military systems, as well as important elements in electronic energy systems, including microelectronics, computers, servers, networks and telecommunications.
